hung bracket myself , it is a custom aluminium bracket I purchased seems very well built the engine was installed by international marine in south florida, the installer said the engine torque was the reason for having to run tab on port side lower, will try moving tab on motor, and will check for hook. thanks to all for info

Am l worng,but would you not need right tab to counter torgue from std. engine rotation?
