Default Looking for Love in all the wrong places, SO CAL

Not many Seacraft boats on the left coast and the few I have looked at are in need of seemingly major work. Today I finally looked at one that has been in my sights for awhile and it had some curious features. First of all the ID plate has been compromised and there was no visible SN. It is listed as a 21' however I walked it off at closer to 19'. Is it a SF20'?

There are holes below the water line one forward starboard side below the fish box and two aft serving as deck drains outlets. There is the standard drain located center bottom on the transom and then one more drain hole port side below the water line. At the risk of seeming ignorant of marine engineering is it effective or safe to have a deck drain going straight down?

Ugh NO, the ass looks OK, the bow NO !!
Something wrong on the keel.....

The keels on a VDH do not have a lip on the cutting edge .....
The spray rail as well..

If it is a SeaCraft someone "presidential engineered" the structural
integrity of the bow.......

I see what you mean. Does look odd in the photo.
I chalked it up to an optical delusion.

Looking at the rest of the boats features it sure looks like a late 60's Sf to me. Maybe a 69ish model. It dose look a little strange in the front the way the Pic was took or the angle it was took from. The shape of the keel may of just been from where some one reworked the bottom after it got rubbed or wore badly. The way they taped off the bottom paint makes the strakes look strange but that looks just to be an illusion from the odd tape angles. I do know the bow rider chines are slightly different up front than the ones on the latter sf models. The rest of the boat just looks to close for it to be a copy of a SC hull. I just think some one did some rework on it changing the appearance.

Just got in from raising my engine up a hole and what do I see on the old CSC forum, built in spray rails that look to be about 1 1/2" or so. Sure not on my 23'er and I don't remember seeing those before on a 20'er. Plus Looks like the bow entry is rather square versus the SC which is a bit sharper, optical delusion?, need more pics. Strange.......

I went back this morning and took what I hope are better pictures.

Thanks for everyone's perspective and insights.

Well, that first picture posted Spooked me a bit. It doesn't appear to be a Potter hull but someone tweaked the spray rail as Ken said. What does your title say?
Here's a Potter Hull pic with the bow lifting strake.
