I actually call her The Martha Stewart of Yachting & Camping, it is amazing she knows where everything is, not just the bag or box but where it is in the bag or box. She also has fine tuned bringing stuff to the island pre-prepared so I thought she could give some good ideas plus we really don't need toooo much food, somebody has to take it home.
She's a bigger fan of Bobby Fay since he does so much grill stuff.
The other aspect of this, since your wife is doing the shots there won't be as many compromizing shots of you.

Just me coming, and I'm planning on camping. No wife or GF currently (that's my other current project along with the '65 bowrider LOL). It's ok for now though; more time for fishing. I'll need to catch a ride out since I won't have my boat with me.

No problem let me know your itinerary so I can possibly make it easier, by the way those beaches have lots of eye candy that time of year, maybe you'll find more than you bargined for, you have to troll where the fish are
Tampa Int. would be best and they have airport shuttle service availible to New Port Richey, just a thought maybe have them take you to the hotel the Moselys are staying, see the link above-you will at least have a bar until we can get there

Man I'm ready for some eye candy, maybe even some trolling; it's been a long strange winter up here.

Just have Patti call Susan, that way no surprises, she will feel much better and want to bring only 1/2 the stuff she thinks she might need 813 292 1312 off.

Well went on the recon today, lots of sand has moved around but the Northend it will be, the bathroom has been spiffed up and is straight up ( not a 30'angle) and very clean including a magizine rack, didn't smell either. We checked out some likey spots and I'm sure it will work great. The picture I posted of the sand point is the target, the smaller boats can get in the swash and the 23's may be nearer the point for more water and not having to deal with the bar, but its a short walk, like 100 yards. Had a painfully steady North wind at 10-water temp 70.7 chilly but going up the beach to the tree's was really nice and found a great spot for a central gathering, I also don't think we will have to deal with a north wind that time of year except a seabreeze for a short time. The swash was pretty deep, thigh deep at mid tide but the getting across the bar at low may be an issue for a 23- the tides that weekend are a low at 4 AM and 4PM so we can live with that no sweat but at low just anchor 100 yds down the beach. Talked with Ranger Chris and he's aware were coming but they really don't care just wanted registration numbers for the CG if were lost at sea He also mentioned no dogs allowed on the island but I will deal with that personally

Forgot mention its still still just gorgious out there, ran through some sand patches coming up on the pass and they looked shallow, looked and it was 6+ ft, water clarity is close to the keys at times since the north end is away from the Anclote River.

I flew over Anclote today. Beautiful. Saw a huge school of mackerel nearly 1/8 of a mile across less than a mile to the NE, moving N. (I think they were mackerel - hard to tell from 300 ft at 80 mph) There were several school of baitfish within a couple of miles as well. The water was very clear, large fish like sharks easy to see, as well as several dolphin in the shallows of the sandbar N of Anclote. Couldn't fly low right over the island, it's not allowed. Ya' gotta maintain 2000 ft right over the island. But there were about 8-10 boats at the NE corner of the island.
