One of the things I didn't mention was, I changed the cooler in the seat to a water tank.
This water tank is bigger, but room is tight, need to put two batteries and a sub in still, won't be a lot of room left for bags
You could use a "Bladder Tank" for the fresh water stowed in some tight place. (even under deck) They come in all shapes & sizes thus maintaining your Baggage / Cooler area.

Just a thought

Sooo, I made the trek from sunny SoFl to Cali.
Long trip on an A320, Non stop, coach. Couple of observations since my arrival.
-There are ALOT of people leaving the interior trying to reach the coast for a Saturday.
-The farmers must know something we don't in Fl or the Real Estate agents aren't as smart, miles and miles of farmland, RIGHT on The Flippin COAST!!!! The real estate agents from Fla must go B-- Sh--- when they see this, all that prime property growing strawberries..
-It's cold out here.
I will be seeing Strick while I'm here, any man with talent and a sense of humor like his deserves to be met. Hide your daughters. :-)
-There is a "little" wedding in Big Sur this week, stay tuned. ;-)
PS: Stay in touch and visit good old freinds, life is short.

You will be disappointed in real life...I'm not very entertaining.... We have these people in California called environmentalists. They can make life difficult for developers and the like. Enjoy Santa Cruz and Monteray. Try not to catch a cold while you here!

Yea, and what's up with that? I have seem more Tesla's here, than I have in my entire life. (2) Right along side more old gas loving hogs like I own 96' or older Detroit, US of A iron.
But for the life of me have yet to see a "Tree Hugger" or "Manatee lover". Is there a special habitat for them? :-)
Want to go poke my finger in their cage.

Would love to hang with you guys and bond over stories of SeaCrafts saved !!!

Yes Sir, there is!! You are right in the heart of their habitat (especially if they had Manatees out there!). Be careful and don't say something like...."it's too bad they don't taste like chicken" when you mention Manatees!!! They have NO sense of humor.

Funny that you mention that.
I'm staying at a friends just south of Santa Cruz, cute little spot on the beach, quiet.
There have all these little pits for fires down by the beach, never did see an Inspector for the permit, I was just surprised to see the fire pit, I expected to get arrested for smoking my cegar out there this am. Fire pits, beach??? Did I mention it was cold out here??
And quiet? Aneyway, figured later I would take my cegar, head down to the beach and ask them where they do the filet and release on the seals. This is Cali ya know and no self respecting manatee would swim in water this cold. ;-)
Figure tween the cegar and my seal question, it would shake things up on the beach.
Which brings back another question. Is life so stressful out here that you have to go surfin at 0600 in freezing cold water?? What's up with that?
Fishing in warm water I can see, surfin at 0600 in abalone cold water, not so much-----. ;-)

Monteray at Fisherman's Warf. That's where they like to hang out. The Aquarium is the nursery. Watch out down there. I had some boy scout looking type young man run up to me one day and told me I was getting too close to the Sealion. Never saw him coming. They are sneaky. It gets better when you get past Carmel....

That's F'ing funny!!! Sneaky little turds!

Last time I was in San Diego the sea lions had made homes on all the boats, especially those with swim platforms, and they do not go out in the water to "relieve" themselves, they are messy, nasty!! You have no choice but to have full canvas covers or they will poop inside your boat!!

Don't like surfin' with an 8MM wetsuit with a hoody? Whats wrong with you?

You should come for lobster season, its Oct to March. Its great. 50 degF water, murky from the winter swells with things that go bump in the dark.

Recently great white shark attacks have resulted in deaths on the beaches. Meanwhile people argue over access rights - humans vs seals - at the the Childrens Pool in La Jolla. Those arguing for the seals are never in the water and fail to understand that the Great Whites love seals. This problem will get worse.

But hey, that sweet, succulent, savory flavor of tasty as spiny lobster after you thaw out makes it all worthwile.

Down south the seaside farms grow tomatoes. Private gardeners grow interesting weeds for medicinal use.

Oh Yeah, there is no fishing allowed in CA, warm or cold water...
