I'm pretty sure I saw your old Fleetcraft listed for sale in the Tarpon Springs section of Craigslist. I have my brother's 1974 23' T Craft here in Geneva, Fl. with me and the hull looks very similar.

I had hoped to make a day trip over to Homosassa and meet some of the club members, especially Skip and Carla who graciously looked over a 76' 23' Seacraft inboard for me in Tavanier.

Would anyone have any available deck space for another rider/fisherman? I've been told that I'm a decent deck hand. We mainly fish out of the east coast at Ponce Inlet or Port Canaveral.

Yep, that's my ol girl and the original photo I sold her with in my front yard. Pat bought her and commercial spearfished for quite a few years on it. It is a very fast and light hull and the layout is rare. Probably a one of a couple made as I have never seen another one ever. It is a true formula splash and whoever did it did an exceptional job. I'm sure it is banged up pretty good by now but it's a rare find and a sexy hull worth a restore.

Mel and I drug out the sled and thoroughly scrubbed and waxed her to a gleaming glow. Well Mel did most of it but I really worked hard rinsing the soap off and keeping her in clean buffing towels..... She really cleaned up nice and I wouldn't sell her for double what I have in her.

All ready for next weekend! Anybody getting there Thursday?

Default Fish situation -

We ran south to about 22' off of Aripika, worked northwest to about 30 off of the Chaz. Grouper were bigger toward the North, many of the undersized everywhere. Lots of Hogs and Mangos all along the way. WATER Conditions : Temp.- 77 degrees, 15-20 viz., Full moon tide driven current will ease up by next weekend!

Good deal Terry. Mel and I took the sled over to MacRae's Sunday morning to scope out everything and run the channel as it has been a while. MacRae's was pretty crowded and parking was very limited due to the overall crowd that congregates at the tiki bar. It will be important for all coming to get there early and stake a claim on parking if they are trailering over. The whole place has had quite a makeover since I have last been there. Docks are all new and we should have room for all the boats without issue.

Mel and also decided to crack the piggy bank open and get a basic room from Thursday thru Sunday as we just don't want to miss what happens when the sun goes down on a gathering of this magnitude.

Terry, do you have or know anyone with a cooler/gear cart we all could use for the event? I have procrastinated to long putting one together and I don't want to wear Mel out schlepping tanks and ice back and forth from the room and boat.

I'll bring a little wagon. Is small but I can fit in it if I'm curled up. Marsh brougt me home from the bar a couple times in it - she's the "Designated Draft Horse"

It saddens me to have to cancel my trip to Homosassa this week. My surgey two weeks ago is still bothering me too much. Can't stand for very long, walk very much, or sit without my dognut. The only thing not affected is Happy Hour !

My wife and I was really looking forward to meeting The SeaCraft crowd. Hopefully we can in the future

Wayne-Sorry to hear the news... We'll look forward to seeing you next time! It's worth the price of admission. KMoose wasn't the only one doing recon on Sunday!
