I've officially finished the build out phase of the boat!!! I have a few more tabs and misc. glass work and then a shit ton of fairing. I ended up just buying some hatches for the transom boxes. Maybe someday I'll glass a set.

It smelled a bit like an old school sharpie. no biggie though, especially in a well ventilated area. I doubt your neighbors would really notice. I painted in my neighbors garage and she was working on golf carts, and ATV's at the same time. The smell didn't linger long either.

Does anyone have any suggestion on how I should glass outside corners. It seems like any way I cut the glass I still end up with an air bubble at the corner? Should I just fill it with thickened epoxy and forget about it?

Sand back the old glass until there are no air bubbles or edges, Cut a small 2" cap piece of 6oz, then thicken epoxy (fibers and the antisag stuff), and use a chip brush (cut the bristles down to half an inch or so). 10 oz doesnt really go around 90 degree corners, it will pop up unless you roundover the edges with a 3/8 router, or 40 grit sander.

Having written all that, I noticed you fared out behind your wheel... I didn't even fare the inside weave on my console, so I shouldn't be giving you advice!

Can’t remember year of hull. My buddy who I helped build 9 Jersey Speed Skiffs in the 2000’s, stored and finally restored this beautiful classic Bahia Mar! Sold to a guy from Sacramento, if I remember correctly. Around ‘17 during severe forest fire season. Never heard anything again from owner. She was a stunning refurb to include the veneer ribbon mahogany transom, custom teak swim platform with a tilting center section while raising I/O. I think it was completed in ‘15, at 50 years, and his 50th birthday. Faux teak and Holly floor was too hot for SC/GA summer sun. Hope pics included. Really cool SeaCraft conversion!
