No, I was not aware of any restrictions. I will look into the "authorization procedure"? If it is going to be a hassle, I'm just going to leave it at home...

They rarely will inspect a boat at check-in. The chances of getting boarded are slim. I think most boaters probably don’t get authorization and don’t have an issue. The problem is when you are flying from what I hear.

Cant remember the last time i havent seen a drone over there... someones always got one at the dock or double breasted.

Weve had em over our boat at dusk bottom fishing the edge of the bank multiple times, US gubmint id assume... the Electric eye!
