I still haven't done diddly w/my 20' MA, too many other projects, no money. I keep looking at major transom surgery photos and it scares me. My transom/deck seems to be very solid. In one of the above photos it appears that a bracket has been added but the transom wasn't closed in. I've been wondering if I gained aft flotation from a bracket, maybe leaving the transom open would be nice on warm, play in the water, inside days. For those other days, have a fairly watertight removable section. I know it wouldn't be as pretty, but wouldn't have to be too unsightly.
