Re: Spraying Awlgrip
As usual, OUTSTANDING work. I got the pix's yesterday and I checked here and no posted pix's. HeHe
You fired me up. I went and bought the Awlgrip Jet Black today and I got the hull about half blocked with 220gt. I hope to have color by saturday. I'm tired of looking at gray primer.I just wish I had that small of an area to do. HeHe Did you roll the nonskid on? |

Re: Spraying Awlgrip
Black is beautiful as they say. Cant wait to see it. Yes I rolled the nonskid. Used a garlic salt shaker. Threw away the perforated plastic cap with holes that came with it then I screwed the lid back on and punched some small holes into it with a pick and then applied the nonskid. Rolled over it a second time.

Re: Spraying Awlgrip
I hope mine comes out that good. I found a guy who works with me at West Marine at night. In the day he is a painter for Bradford Marine (Mega million dollar yachts) in Ft. Lauderdale. He told me that if I do all the prep work he would charge me a flat rate of $25.00 / hour to spray mine with awlgrip. Now all I have to do is decide on the color. How much paint did you use?
