Re: Holy Cow!!
That's pretty funny. I was in Grecian Jeweler's last September. He's got pictures of huge bluefin tuna up all over the wall in his Jewelry shop . . . we talked about cod fishing for almost an hour. Great Guy!!! Probably should have asked him about bass fishing while I was in the store
CS - good luck on your quest for a Boston Habb'a 50 pounda. |

Re: Holy Cow!!
Nick: How do you know Jimmy? He's the brother-in-law of a buddy of mine. He doesn't live too far west, Dracut or Groton, I think. He burns up trucks towing those crazy boats all over New England like you and I use a pair of shoes. He sure knows how to catch fish!

Re: Holy Cow!!
Live eels were the ticket this day!
I am sure he burns up trucks, but many transmissions first. I got to know Jimmy through a friend, ... of course another Greek. Yasou! - Nick |

Re: Holy Cow!!
Sweet bass! Nice fish!
... sorry, won't find many like that in the Harbor though. North to Cape Anne, south to Cohassett to better your chances

Re: Holy Cow!!
John R- you must have heard that a 12 year old kid grabbed a 56 pounder at Providence point ( northern tip of Prudence I.) last month. Now, down our way, all the big ones are off the Block.

I know a few Boston sharpies that catch a lot of 30s, some 40s, and the odd 50 but if they lived off Buzzards Bay or BLock, they'd do even better.... Me, I'm still waiting for my 40 from shore
