I have decided to bite the bullet and replace the current setup.

I have heard (I believe on this web iste) that SeaStar is much better that BayStar.

Hopefully, I will have the new setup in place within the next week or so. I will let you know how it works out.

Seastars baystar steering systems are for 150 hp and less .If you have twins then you need to use the seastar system, not bay star. Seastar is just a more heavy duty
system Hope this will help.
