went with the drill, and hammer and chisel route, took me a couple hours to clean out the bottom pocket.
You got a ton o' holes there - was there a plate bolted on? Are you going to add a layer of glass to the inner transom, before or during the transom replace ? Looks like you left the original drain tube in place - planning on leaving that in thru the transom replace, or just haven't pulled it out yet ? If leaving it in, did you leave any wood around it ? Mine looks just about like yours at this stage. Bill |

No all the threw hulls are out. And yes I'll put a few layers of glass on the inside and layer up 3/8 ply with a couple layers of matt in between each sheet.

I did mine from the inside. I had over 50 holes in the transonm. The boat was originally dual outbourds. I had to do the deck cap also.

Looking at your pictures it appears your gas fill was on the starboard side. That's the first one I have seen [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img] What year is your hull?
