Now I'm getting all excited to get back in the game. Too bad our season doesn't start for a few more months.

This Scarab was a funny one. It wasn't called in, I just happen to come across these guys and asked'em if they needed help, they were like "yeah OK".
They we out there from 11 o'clock the night before, and the tide is high in this pic, so it's pretty obvious they weren't going anywhere.

Gotta love the old "burnt to the waterline".

Our season comes and goes with the weather down here oh and also with the beer sale's, but unfortunatly I've been working 6 days a week at my day job which leaves me little or no time to work with my salvage buddy, and that sucks cause I really enjoy doing the salvages. Our bay system is littered with shallow reefs and sand bars which makes it very hard on the newbies to find there way, they tend to keep us busy around all the major holiday's.

Scott, are you guys still busy with hurricane work? I know a lot of guys from this area went down, and I think their still there.

our area did not get any bad weather just a little wind and high tides and we work primarily for one insurance company and mainly in our immediate area. We got 15 salvages right after Rita all within 50 miles, and then about 10 or so in sabine pass and lake charles. The little company I work for is not geared for multiple salvages at a time, so when our ins. company started there work they went with us auctions and salvage direct.
