I have been on a 33' palmetto that fit under that bridge, and my boat fits fine, not even close. You just have to make sure your outriggers are in, and take the rods out of the top rod holders (don't ask ).

If Otto's trailering, then there's no excuses for anyone(Bigshrimpin, Strick )..........The word LEGENDARY comes to mind with this next one on the East Coast. We will get in the Fishing Mags this time. Way to go Skiblet on stepping up to help out planning this one................While we are at it, we should chip in to buy Ken some quality polarized glasses so he can avoid running up on another sandbar at the next gathering

I'm working on that as we speak.
I was on the phone with Long Point yesterday...
Either April 4 & 5 or April 11 & 12
They are supposed to get back to me today..
As soon as we firm it up you guys will know.
Shooting for 10 sites in a row.
Plus working on local motels within 5 miles of the park.

See ya, Ken

Brian-Yes, I will be there . I needed that kick in the butt, thanks . These gatherings force the issue! I will be there and will try to get my dad and his 18SF 140 Suzuki there as well as the high and dry 79 23SF sitting on her trailer over here in B'ton........

I usually stay at sites 40-70. They are a little deeper, and quieter. Also, they have a nice view of the water, and tend to have a few less noseemems and more of a breeze. Sites 1-30 can be rough when it comes to bugs!!! same for 100-113.

Here is a link to the park,
Longpoint Park
and here is a site map of the park

DO NOT DELAY !!!!!!!
CALL LONGPOINT NOW----
I just reserved site 77 for April 11 & 12
They would not do a bulk reservation. As John said those premo sites are open right now for that weekend.
I spoke to Robert he will be there till 9:00pm tonight.
Call them and make your reservation NOW!!!!!!
321-952-4532

Do not be left out. They fill up fast!!!!

For those that need a motel, this little place is nice.
although not on the water it is on A1A 4 miles from Long Point. Call them ASAP It is a clean Mom & Pop, I have stayed
there several times. I will try to find a few more motels
close by and post them. Floridana Beach

See ya, Ken
