Aft well filling when running

I have a 2001 sc21 and my livewell always fills with rain water which is annoying, but it also fills from the overflow hose, if you can believe that- so, I blocked the overflow outlet and now only have the rain issue- I unblock the overflow only when I'm actually using the livewell. I agree that the indeck well stinks- if I had to do it again or next time it will be the above deck leaning post livewell for me.
