I think I am "the tire kicker who does not have a clue" that was referred to in a previous post. I am not sure what went wrong in the transaction. Prior to the paint job, I traded some emails with the seller, and we had a nice conversation. I offered the asking price. Prior to driving to Key West to pick it up, i emailed a few simple questions and requested some some photographs of the finished boat and from that point the transaction went down hill. But no hard feelings; the boat looks good and i wish the seller luck. I may be clueless, but, I can assure you I was not a tire kicker.

Please understand that the post was made by me, Mark, not Joey. Joey is a decent and diplomatic person who would not have posted that. I, on the other hand, just spew forth most of the time

So if you like the boat why let it get away?

Drive down crack the wallet open and drive home with the boat. Just my .02 worth

This boat is still available, call the seller at 305.747.6067 (he's having some computer access woes so the phone is a better contact method for now).

Joey good luck with the sale. You are practically giving it away. I cant understand why it's still around. Fellas for 2K you can buy a used yamaha 130 throw it on this boat and away you go happy as a lark passing up all the dummies who spent 40K for a new one

Joey-Ditto on Stricks comments. My 89 18SF was well built with no soft spots with that 130 Yamaha. What a great package for little $$
