Hey abl1111, Regarding a receiver to hold and heal your left over bait check out this tank, it's overkill at 375 gal but hey... those 55 gal platic barrels would work fine. My last one was rectangular, frame made out of pvc pipe, 1/2" polyethylene garden screen from Home Depot, an uv resistant zip ties. Drilled holes in pipe to neutralize bouyancy, and attached floats to the top. Door was PVC and garden screen and additional zip ties served as hinges. It tucked right under the dock.



Out here you can't use a casting net south of Santa Barbara (half way between San Diego and San Francisco) so we're forced to make bait using sabikis or pay $35 a scoop to the local bait monopoly. Saving bait saves a lot of time and money.
