thats about right, im trying to think about the yammie manual from school if i remember its in the neighborhood of 30-35 ft.lbs be sure to evenly tighten not to warp the mating surface.

Ok, mission complete. Thanks to everyone's help and the lower unit's mfg (SEI) online tutorial --- Installation was a breeze!! It took about 2 hours and went extremely well. Installed the unit on Sat. & tested it at the lake Sun. All ran perfectly.

On to the next project - Carb(s) redo. (see current post)
