Hey waterhazerd,
Now that you've totally derailed drews thread with your needs, go ahead and post some nice pics and pitch in 25 bucks (as you're effectively running a for sale campaign) and maybe you'll see a little more love. Armed with the little info that follows, feel free to start a new thread in the For Sale section. Right now there are at least 4 27's for sale in the csc family and one that just sold for a pittance. Go ahead - ask No Bones what he paid for his red Ankor Wat. When he tells you the truth with a straight face, you'll be begging to give your boat to my non-profit for the tax break. The Master -- inventor, designer, builder, and racer of the VDH himself, Mr Moesly, has one for sale for 18.5K down in Key Largo. Looks flawless with twin Yamaha outboards. I believe 3rdday has one posted here for 15k with a fresh 454 gasser. There's a bitchin 27 with a cummins bt6 in miami for 50 large. And finally, Blizzard1 has a unique and very rare 27 on the site for 12k with a nice looking Yamaha 250. Now make an honest comparison as to your boat's value, pitch in your 25 clams, post your for sale sign and bump your ad to the top at will. ANd then check your response from which you decide how low you'll go. It's a brutal market and virtually nobody will get what they are asking unless there is huge demand for their boat. Unfortunately, that doesn't exist for a 40 yr old masterpiece such as the 27 SeaCraft The gang at THT and everywhere else will tell you where to post your old SeaCraft. I believe, Ed, RIP, posted it here, too. If you look at the last "For Sale" ad, you'll see what goes on here. One ad for a sweet 23' Sceptre led to the sale of a 20' (or vice-versa)and may also contribute to whatever the seller of that 20' buys next. Heck, maybe he's looking for a SeaVilla with a fly-bridge and twin L6s. Good luck.
