The new floor has been dry fitted and in two pieces. We decided to fill the pockets b/w stringers with foam and made channels and drains so water can escape if it ever finds its way beneath the foam.
The floor will go down in the next couple of days then up the sides!

Nice work on the vacuum bagging. What material are you using for the sides? I see you filled the hull with foam. I would caution you about adding too much weight to the 20sf. Foam, a big leaning post live well, etc... it will add up quick.

1/2" Nida core
Regarding the weight.....we removed SOOO much I find it hard to believe we will ever come close to adding that much back!
However, I hear you and understand your concern.
Forgot to add, the rigging tube was carved through the starboard side of the foam and glassed to make a smooth channel and soft corners.
The transom is two layers of 3/4" coosa-board laminated together and the floor is 1" divincil.

She will be solid as a rock now that you have cored the sides. Thats one of the best things I did to my 20sf. I take it you are going to put a flotation bracket on the hull? I was just saying about the weight because as you know the 20 sf does not have that much freeboard as compared to the 20 MA. What are you going with for power? looks like you are not skimping on this project

Strick, as I said before I am not doing the work myself yet paying a professional to take my ideas and make them reality. They listen to me and I listen to them and the result will be a new Potter that is done right!
I ran this boat for two years before starting this project and it had a bracket when I bought it. I will be putting the bracket back on after a little makeover as well as the 175 Opti that I hung when I bought her.
