I won't be bringing dive gear, but I'd like to go out and drag a couple stretch 30s around on Saturday if someone has numbers that are good for that. Maybe drop a hook and see if the Groupah are interested in a pinfish or two. 30'-55' depth preferably. I will probably have room in my boat for two others if anyone's interested. I will have rods and tackle.

You do realize that in the Homosassa to Steinhatcheee stretch, the Gulf deepens about 1' for every mile you travel offshore. So to troll a Stretch 25 or 30 in 55 feet of water is quite a ride to get there!

Seriously, you pick up gags in 20'-40' off Crystal River, straight out from the power plant. There's a trough there that I used to fish. If you have good sonar mapping charts, look at the bathymetric lines to find it, about 12 miles out.
No, I don't give out numbers.

"No, I don't give out numbers"

Darn....without your numbers I don't guess we will be able to find any fish at all!!

However as luck would have it Moose, Terry, Marsha and "Mr. Shine" Doug were able to find enough fish to provide us about 25 pounds of grouper, hog fish and snapper filets to feed us like kings!!
