The engine was new when we got the boat but due to the risers not being tall enough and a bad bilge pump setup she partially submerged herself on the mooring and water went through the exhaust and into the engine. The previous owner kept it on a lift and a trailer so he would not have known the issues existed so no hard feelings there. When rain water got into the hull it did not self bail very well, went into the bigle and forward fishbox which made the bow go down, then there was no float switch on the closest bilge pump....anyway, now the engine is siezed. Only had it for a few weeks before it happened and it has not been in the water since. We'll get it all squared away this winter with a new engine, proper bilge pump setup and a variety of other things like an electrically raised center console for engine access.
