Gary and Strick,

thank you for the input. I tow an 18 ft Whaler to Campbell River in the summer and have seen the wind kick up is a hurry around Cortes Is. As far as planning I have friends that cruise up and back every year in big boats and they would help with the ports of call and refuges.

It's a crazy dream that I have had for 20 years and the best part will be the planning and playing in the boat. Who knows I may end up with photos on the Seacraft Forum.

Again thank you. As the ball keep rolling I will certainly let you know.
