Ouzo runs a 140 Suzuki 4 stroke on his 20' Seafari and it is a nice setup. We've gone out and fished all day for 12 hours and only burned about 30 gallons.

Considering that his Seafari is heavier than the MA, and filled with a lot more stuff, I think you would be fine with the 115.

If worse comes to worse, you can always add NITROUS.

Grady

I would have to agree with Eggsuckindog on the 150hp VS 115. I just repowered my 20MA with a yamaha 150. I use to have a 200hp johnson. And given what you are going to add, that adds a lot of drag, and if any other adults join you on the boat...! Egg- is right you will have to keep it nearly WOT. and you know that's not too good for the life of the engine! I'm no speed demo either, but i tell you it helps to have that extra power when you need it most. And with a 150hp you can back down on the throtle and conserve fuel that way. I totally agree with EGG.
Think real hard!

good luck !

I agree with brad too. I had a 1999 150 ficht on my 20MA for a little while before I hawked the motor. It would top out at 40 mph. I'm sure I could have squeezed a few more MPH's out of that POS motor, but I could never get it to run right.
