I put one on each side, they are a pocket for the Lenco trolling motors to fit when trimmed up.

A lot of what these guys have said here is true....you eally shoulden't dump money into something your not sure you really want. Its a lot of time, energy and money to expend. Think hard.

Now with that said I see you mention you really like this thing....well good for you and thats all that matters. Everyone here and classicmako will provide volumes of information you can use to re-build your boat.

I don't think it matters what boat you have or what boat your rebuilding.....as long as its boat porn its all good.

You're right about the Grady sites.....seems like most Grady owners don't like getting thier hands dirty but thats not true with all of them.

If you had $1000 would you rather buy a fishfinder or acetone and rubber gloves? I'm busting your balls, but seriously think hard about this . . . you'll be in 15k with used power. I'm gonna enjoy watching this project and I promise not to say "I told you so".

4K in materials EZ . . . just to finish the boat on the cheap (not including rigging, new trailer, fuel tank, hoses, wiring, plumbing, electronics, batteries, bracket and power).

Look at it this way fellas... it's a good way for him to get some practical experience for when he gets a real boat worth restoring like a SeaCraft. So you wont screw it all up

dearl- who are we to tell you how to spend your hard earned money. I myself am looking forward to your progress reports. I actually kinda like the lines on that little boat. However some of the other senior members have not yet chimed in. I'm not exactly sure if they will let you post your progress here... in the past others have been booted for even talking about other brands of boats let alone showing us explicit interracial boat porn which is what you have just done.

Yeah fellowship, those bugs did a number on this one. Guys don't get me wrong, I understand what you guys are saying about the amount it will take to redo this boat, but i didn't start this to save money, and honestly i know that it will be along time before this boat actually floats again, but when it does can you imagine the sense of pride of doing a job this great would make you feel like, and i didn't want a boat like everone else had. Actually, i wanted something NOBODY had, something that will stand out, something that you couldn't go out and buy. WHEN ITS DONE, YOU WANT EVEN RECOGNIZE IT i PROMISE!
