Obviously keep it original and don't throw a bracket on it..that would be a sin

If it's got the OMC 155 hp V6 sterndrive setup as original, then either the Merc 3.0 MPI or the Volvo 3.0 EFI will be great, but the newer 4.3 V6 setups are 200 lbs heavier than the original.

Thanks for the work you have done to find this site. Your post showing the 15 Scampi is a Homecoming for the motley crew here at CSC. We ALL have been looking for a 15 Scampi. I have family in Wells. Any chance you can post more pictures?? Congrats!

there was a complete omc buick v6 on Atlantas craigs list just 2 days ago, it would be cool to have it back to original

I love the fact that the old 120-155 hp OMC V6 225ci stringer-drive setups weighed only 685 lbs. That's 10 lbs less than the current 3.0L Mercruiser 135 hp setup

i've worked out of brooklin went mussel dragging. Had the boat down off of Naskeag point.
