It is a 82 20 sf. It has a evirilude 150.
I bought it about a month ago I havnt had it out yet as the motor is being rebuilt so I've just been. Cleaning it up. First the teak then I redid the canvas a teal and did the upholstery Im making. Coaming pads for the side but can't finnins them in till I get the embroidery back. I putting seacraft On Them I had to rescrew the rubrail. Also.

I like the sound of the sc logo on the pads. I am going to get a cushion made for the front deck. As well as redo the current ones might add that idea

no, it's not.
Stick with name-brand oil. I strictly use Quicksilver (Mercury), Yamalube, Penzoil< or Bombardier branded 2-stroke oils in any 2-stroke motor. I'd add Amsoil to the list, but they don't market in Florida. (As of 2007, Quicksilver was mostly made by Conoco/Phillips or Ashland Oil to Merc specs. Yamalube made by Chevron/Texaco to Yamaha specs, and Bombardier made by Penzoil West, Amsoil or Gulf Oil)
Of the actual oil manufacturers, only Penzoil and Amsoil make their own brand exceed the quality of what they make for anyone else.

If you say so. But Ive never had a problem with using any 2 stroke oil. Now if I have a choice Ill use name brand but I dont go out of my way for it.

When you decarb, you find out how things are. I called the F.D. with a heads up the first time, and that was at the ski boat ramp. Big cloud. Wind blowin` a lee and 10 ft. vis.

I run Penzoil semi synthetic. Hardly any smoke on the de-carb this spring. I`m thinking of pulling the heads just to replace the old gaskets and check the cooling passages.

There is a reason why they invented synthetic oil. We went to the moon.

Heavy carbon can lead to pre-ignition and cooling is paramount as well.

Harbor Freight makes an inexpensive infrared gun. I run about 147 idle and cruise. Lil` more when she gets hungry.

Cheers,
GFS

The Crew

Ran real good, I was real impressed the way the 150 powered the boat up to speed with my parents and gf on board along with some food an and drinks in the ice chest. I really gotta add the gps/finder combo it's not kool running around with out it. I have another question I dont have a temp gauge and the fuel gauge dosent seem to read correctly. What options do I have to help remedy these issues ?
