take a ride up to fgci. they sell epoxy there real cheap and all the other boat building supplies you will need. and us composites in medley fl sells penske board for a good price.

I like US Composites for Epoxy, too. I didn't know they had a store in Medley. I thought they were in West Palm.

WOW!!! spent my morning getting materials for the transom and just about crapped my self! So after getting asked for my first born and to leave my wife as partial payment, i dropped all the fancy cores and epoxys back on the counter and said my goodbies
went to couple boat repair shops and picked up glass resin ect,ect$500.00, lumber yard $200.00 = a price my family could live with. i know it will be more in micsalaneous but the bulk is bought and paid for. So thank you for all the good advice but in the end financial resposability took priority. well as soon as i start reassembly i will post some more pics.

yea the resin and cloth add up quick. unfortunetly for me i bought alot of epoxy for my project 23 and ended up selling it. i kept the epoxy though.

i guessed about 5 gallons so i hope im close. im actually doing a flat floor were my hatches used to be, so i might be short. but better short than have a bunch left over.

One thing I have to say is to shop around on composite prices. I have seen expanding foam go for $360 a gallon, and $80. Resin can be similar. So there are deals to be had.

there's a reason composites cost more - they're worth it...
