Chris

I think you have a single Seamark bracket for the CC right? What are your plans now, get a double for the Vette and have both boats bracketed

Chuck, I already have a double bracket. I'll use that one for the vette and get another double for the cc when I get around to working on that one again.

Which one are you putting on?

Yeah, I can't wait to get the rig done. Mr.P told me "for some reason that boat rides like a 35 footer" and darn if he isn't right. With the bracket on should make it even better.
I don't see any reason the boat can't be back in the water for next season. Other than the transom everything else is pretty much cosmetic.

I toyed back & forth many times whether or not to go twins. With the double expense of initial cost and maintenance and how I use the boat I went the single deal.

Chuck,

I would have gone single with this boat if the 300 was do-able, and it is....for now, but parts aren't available nor can be found so I pretty much figured I shouldn't set the boat up for that motor.
My feeling is the boat was ment for speed and if I put a single 250 on it, it'll look like a flea on a elephants ass compaired to that 3.4 liter, and not do the boat justice.
So with the twin bracket it give me more room to play. I can put either twin 25" motors or a single 30".
For a fishing boat not intending to run to the cayons, I'd do the same as you.
