I have been waiting for other guys to chime in thinking more people would be able to make it if they chose the date. Last year things fell apart at the last minute. What are the dates for Newport and Chatam? I'd like to start planning something too. Suggest a date and we'll go from there.
Now I really need to get my boat back together.

Chatham July 15 or 16
Newport (same as Jazz Fest) weekend of August 12th. I am not a Fluke fisherman but though late May early June is a good time? How about a weekend after your classes are finished?

That would be the 24, 25 of June. Which is the Montauk Marine Basin Shark Tourny for us. Then we are into July 1,2 which is going to be the 4th of July wekkend this year, Then we are close to Chatam time. Maybe end of July? Not the best Fluke time but it fits the Schedual (Now we need a secretary for this site to handle the event timing)
Or the weekend between the Fourth and Chatam (8th & 9th)????
