Don't you mean a 25' Seafari?

I'd like the 27' Flybridge made from '68 - '73, repowered with twin 170 hp turbo-diesel Merc/Yanmar sterndrives. They weigh just 16lbs a piece more than the original 165hp (prop-rated) Merc gas sterndrives, and use about 1/4 to 1/3 the amount of fuel.

Hey, a guy can dream, right?

Fr. Frank, actually I did mean 23' Seafari. I think a 23' version of the Seafari would be ideal. I might even put one together some day

It would mean finding a donor 20' Seafari with a good cabin, windshield, etc, and a 23' Sceptre/ Tsunami ready for some plastic surgery.

Ya' know, the more I think about that, the better it sounds. You'd end up with a wider gunwale top around the cabin because of the difference in beam, making it much easier to walk from the cockpit to the bow, which would also make it much more fishable, while keeping the amazing good looks of the Seafari.

Someone from this area, maybe Jupiter, posted something here a few month ago that they were going to destroy a Seafari by trying to make it into a CC. (Why destroy one of the rarest and unique models made when there are LOTS of CC's out there?!) There may be a Seafari cap available if he still has it!

The boat is still for sale. I see alot of people looking again. The price is 13000 OBO.

2001 – Transom redone, New Allcraft 2000 fighting lady yellow paint on outer hull, new rub rail, new vents, SeaCraft emblem and custom tripes.
2004- New custom made A&J Marine bracket and Sea Star Hydraulic steering. The bulk head that the steering helm mounts to was also recored.

The engine is a 1997 Yahama 200 bought new in 1998. Electronics include a Garmine 162 GPS, a Garmin 240 Blue fish finder and Apelco VHF radio.
