Got a different prop and boy it made all the difference. 15.25 x 15P aluminum. Not too bad for a 1979 Vertical reed 2.4L v200 non fingerported chrome bore powerhead!! Mind you a mid 80's 2.4L 175 was also vertical reed setup with fingerports. 70 gallons of fuel, 2 big adults, and kicker. Picked up a 15P mirage this week . . . we'll see what happens. Based on today's run . . . I believe I'm getting roughly 2.5mpg with the setup. Not too shabby.
