I've just spoken at length with Jerry1. If all goes as planned, he'll be taking HIS splashwell to Don to make a mold. This would alleviate having me drive all over, and it won't inconvenience YeA 20sF.

If this goes well, I can step out of the process at that point, and all of you that have requested information about the now-infamous splashwell will be able to deal directly with Don (Don Herman, Hermco). This will also prevent any potential issues with measurement, fit, etc. etc.

By my count, there are now 8 requests for the splashwell (and one currently for sale...in SC).

I hope this all works easily. I feel good knowing that all of you, with this splashwell, will enjoy a greater level of safety while out on the water.

Jerry dropped off a splashwell I can use as a plug for a mold today. Am planning on cleaning it up, adding flanges, and pulling a mold off of it. First part will be a replacement part for him so gimmie a few weeks to have a working mold ready and his part out then I can build as many as you guys need. Does anyone have a 20' near Stuart FL so I can check the fit before I begin? Is not entirely necessary but would be nice to see how it fits first.

Way to go, Jerry and Don! I'm glad the process has begun.
So, the 7 of you that expressed an interest in buying a splashwell can now deal directly with Don. I'm out of the picture, unless someone in the DC/Balti/Philly area wants me to bring one back from FL ...sometime around Christmas...if Don's able to be making them by then.
