Digital cammera broke so it is going to take a few more days to post. I have to go buy a disposable one now then have them put it on a disc.

Yes, the boat looks nice, but you shouldn't have put Awlgrip on the bottom. Awlgrip specifically states it's not for underwater use. Now this isn't a problem as long as you trailer the boat and never leave it in the water for more than few days. The problem comes if you want to sell it. You've eliminated any buyer that would want to keep it in the water. Well, at least they'd have to remove the awlgrip before they bottom painted it.

While I agree with what you said there Dunk, I also disagree.
A whole bunch of crap can be hide under bottom paint.
To turn your statment around, Lot's of people wouldn't buy it with bottom paint.

Dunk,
I was fully aware of the fact that awlgrip is not for underwater longterm use, but being that the boat is a trailer and lift boat I didnt really care. If you look around the site indepth there is alot of boats that used awlgrip or other types of paints below the waterline. Like warthog said I believe that having bottom paint is more of a setback in resale than being awlgriped. Who knows I might end up gelcoating the bottom in a few years.

I wouldn't sweat it George, it was merely one persons opinion. You have a pretty boat, enjoy it!

To offer constructive input while a project is underway is one thing. To come along afterwards and suggest a person should not do what they did severly lacks in tact
