Dude, what did you fair that thing with? It peeled off in slabs even with a healthy coating of PVA.
Well, let`s see. The plastic pieces parts went together with 2 part epoxy. I then did a rough fair with marine tex. The slabs you reference are idonknowhowmany coats of hi build primer with a total thickness of 3/16???" Maybe 5 spray bomb cans of clear for the finish.
All mixed with 90 layers of fingertip skin and aluminum oxide. It`s my own recipe.

I think Ole has fewer hours in The Great Pumpkin.

The piece itself is called The Awesome Equalizer. Brought to you by the folks at
Awesome Fishing Products or AFP.

If you are sitting on the front console seat, it will be mounted in between your shins on the front vertical panel. This allows you to put a rod in the gimbal and chase a fish with the pointy end of the boat.

It may also become a fighting belt system as Doc`s photo illustrates beautifully.

Cheers,
GFS

I think I'd rather have the one strick posted mounted on my lap than yours between my shins. Not knocking the product, mind you, just sayin'...

The gelcoat is curing on the first part. Hopefully, it will pop easier than the plug. If I don't forget, I'll embed some tuggers in the layup.

What? Nobody clicked on the you tube link?

So this begs the question. Hand laid in WPB or plastic from China?
