Guy's, did most SC's with gunwale height corners aft have the folddown splashwell board? For arguments sake, would someone with a MA be able to just trim the ears down on this tub splashwell, is it the same width between the aft boxes whether you have jumpseats or the full height corners? It seems someone with a flush motorwell could add a very short permanent splashwell board, then the tub right on top and keep all your tilt travel.

I have a 79 MA that has the factory splash well that could be used to make a mold if enough people want to go thru the efforts

I believe I posted a pic of it before

It goes from one side of the gunnel height corner to the other and it looks like you can trim up the engine all the way with out removing it

I plan on useing it when I'm done with the rebuilt

I am very much looking for a Master Angler splashwell. I have a gate, but it is held by 2 barrel bolts and the outboard hits it a full tilt, so I always have to drop the gate. Plus I know the barrel bolts will pull out with a big wave. I was going to fab my own, but would rather buy one.

Nice work, Don. I wish my parts were that pretty when they came out of the mold.

It would be easier, and less expensive, to copy an existing splashwell. Otherwise, Don would have to make one from scratch.

So...any takers?
I am removing the rear hatches and splaswell off of a 1973 20sf to put a 25 inch transom on the boat. If your interested in them you can call or contact me 774-313-0201 thanks BrianS
