I agree. That is a beautiful boat. However, I would take a new 26' Regulator over that boat in a heartbeat. I love SeaCrafts (and have owned 2 23' Potter era SF's). I also, own a 26' Regulator and Regulator makes one hell of a boat.

Yes guys, I joined the dark side. I got a 26' Regulator a couple of years ago. Actually, I have been making tee shirts and hats for http://www.redregulator.com.
One day I would like to pick up either an 18 or 20 SeaCraft. I was on the CSC site becuase the son to my local marina guy did a nice job on an old 19 Mako and now he wants something bigger. I toldhim that i would help find him a 23 SeaCraft. Ii just drove by the marina and I saw a 77/78 23' SeaCaft up on the blocks. he has already started work on it. I will tell him to check out your great web site for some ideas. Peter

I suppose that boat's for the guy who wants to have a boat that's different from others, and obviously the cash to burn on it.
Just about too pretty to fish it in my opinion - sinkers, etc scratching, banging it up. A show piece to me, but other's might say it's a hard core fishing rig. Sort of like a " car show classic " .........do you drive it ? No, just polish and keep covered. But that's my opinion because I feel most comfortable on boats that are " worn in " |
