The race hulls are completely different animals, They do share the VDR or stepped bottoms but only have 2 steps per side vs 3 like on the production hulls. The race hull is a lot narrower, a little longer (mine is closer to 28 foot) and a whole lot less weight. She was built to do one thing and do that well.

Congrats Frizz-

I saw that advertised on craigslist a few months back but assumed you knew about it as it was in your home state.

I have been trying to stay off craigslist as it tend to make me spend $, I have glanced at it monthly vs daily to try and avoid the probable outcome. Couldn't resist this on though.

Havent found one yet...

Title says hull #001, but it also says 1971. Supposedly it was the first one after Potter took over, built for an aircraft guy (pilot?) in Palm Beach... Got it from my uncles brother in law who bought it in 91 from original owner.

You came all the way to Daytona without saying hello? I was a day late and a dollar short due to the FB listing. I guess membership has its privileges. Haha

I do not FB.

Congratulations!!! That thing would have been on its way to Mike at WildFire today. Nice score.
