George,

Do you know the dimensions (footprint) of that console?
Trying to find a console for a 19' boat. Does Viper sell these regularly or was this a special deal?

I am not sure of the foot print off hand and right now I dont have direct access to the boat, but i would just call viper. They sell a couple different console set ups.

Mark,

I believe you may have over-reacted to Dunk's comments, which are not untrue. He also qualified his statement with "Now this isn't a problem as long as you trailer the boat and never leave it in the water for more than few days".

Yes it was after the fact, but learning from comments like those are helpful.

What the hell is with all the eye wiping and back rubbing on this thread? Someone tells it as it is, then everyone has to run for the tissues?

I've had her out 3 times. Still trying to get everything tweaked. Lots of little projects to finish before I can call it finished. I'm making a seat for the CC door right now. It's still raw and needs to be faired and painted but I have it bolted to the door. Also still need to put on some bottom paint. There is still a slight list however it's but not as bad as before. I think putting fuel on board helped some. I'm not going to worry about about it because the only time you see it is when you are out of the boat and looking for it! Cruises at 30mph 4100 RPM and WOT at 5100rpm 44mph. I have to look into getting a little more RPM out of her. The first two times out the engine wanted to give a little surge off and on that I mistaked for cavitation and now that wet away. I think I just needed to run the engine for a while to clean out the fuel lines and carbs. I had it out in 45mph winds on the other weekend so I tested the hard top and consel and they are rock solid. So I guess I'm happy. I'll post some pics soon.
