Oooh oooh oooh, I was hoping one of you would find this. I have some q`s. What motah/s do you have? Bracket? Still have the ballast tank? Know the location of longitudinal center of tank? What is your beam? Does she push in a quarter following sea? Roll a lot on the drift. Any mods you liked or not? Performance #s? Fuel burn? How does she like to run in the snot? Up on top? Min plane speed? Oh and any other tips or advice.

Oh and a correction...deck was raised 5"s. I really have no business doing this, I just can`t help myself. Can`t help myself. Can`t help myself.

Thanks all for the help and kind words.

Oh, I also learned that everything other than the hull and trailer has been sold so I need tons and tons of pieces/parts. I need horse traders.

Cheers,
Wilbur

Gem? Why? Did you choose something else or just not for your boat? Are you in paint now? My Brother, the open check book writer is horrified. I`ll bust my knuckles thanks.
Like Todd`s right?

Jazzed and crying. Maybe 2 boat is a good ending. Seven would be ideal. Puff puff.
Canoe,

It is a gem. I bought 2 of them. One I used and the other was going to be for the fresh water cooling. Could not fit it in so it is up for sale. Let me know.

We are in paint mode now...

Unfortunately I haven't had the coin to do much with her yet... Engine wise I'm planning for twins totaling between 400 to 600 hp. Carl recommended two outboards for my hull which is a 28 pulled from the same mold as yours. I was seriously thinking about a single 300 or 350 on a porta-braket but I really want to use it to shoot over to the corner for some tunas so twins would give me more peace of mind. Mine still has some of the fittings for the ballast tank but I haven't decided to incorporate that into the refit. The chine beam would be the same but it is probably a little wider at the sheer due to the higher freeboard than on the smaller models. I've been on the boat in some pretty snotty stuff and that's where she shines although you will get rocked while drifting. A sea anchor will dramatically help with this. Sorry I don't have any real performance #'s but at one time it had a single 200 and ran in the mid 40's through just about anything. As far as advise goes, don't let anyone convince you that this hull doesn't have a longitudinal step. It looks different but it certainly is still there. Almost had a piece of No Bones area 442 on a bet... And Carl has told me more than once to keep the weight aft and I would never question his advise. You should be excited!

I`m not excited at all. Really. I have a nice drift sock. Love it. Looked like it was never used. Great for the stream here. Dania is soon now no? If I think more, I will raise her strength and diminish the trade off, and yes I am infatuated. A bit. That`s a run n gun boat , but I bet she`ll drift better than my 20 with the sock. Use the deep entry into the wave and think more like Carl.

There is only 1 step in these hulls. So, you almost had a small furry hat on a bet eh?

Chuck, send those shoes to Finny.

Default green race boat

Congrads, I saw this one while doing my daily cruseing on C.L. If I could of scheduled off of work to make the trip a little sooner you would of been a up set man, now I am. (Im in NC and it was a good drive for me but would of been well worth it) Still happy for you and maybe me and richard can work out something and I can join the club with you and FlyingTime! What a deal. I mean what a deal. You could sell the trailer and make money on this and keep the boat for Free! I thought that it was too good to be true at first but glad to know that it is up here on csc now so that I can watch the progress on the boat.

Thanks frizzle! The early nerd gets the turd. c 2013. AKA, I really want to thank ElBitchinBueno!!! If he had not started this thread, I would not be typing this. I had forgotten about this treasure. Thanks EBB!!! I got fitted for my court mandated ankle bracelet this morning. Spent the rest of the day sanding my fingerprints clear off on the Awesome Equalizzzer. Production will start sooon.

I`m thinking it would be a good ideer to have yacht doctors pull the hubs and check the bearings as she`s been there a while. I need to have a trouble free long distance haul for once... The pigtail is 4 pin and receiver 2".Tranny fluid smells nice and clean at 12k. 93 octane go go juice and 3rd gear mileage with my weenie truck. Hope WideOPen doesn`t smell her scent on me...cheating never felt soooooo good. Would she look ok with a hunter green bimini?

Dahhh,
GFS

Fish it? I`m gonna put in a stripper pole and sell pizza. aka, Not sure of the beam, but she is skinny just like me. A sock and a kite flying off the stern. We don`t have it that easy down here. Many days I get blown out. I hope I have learned enough to get out more. It`s like a first date with a smokin hot....boat. So I guess the hunter green bimini should stay on Wide OPen...

Just back from a wedding. Is this strange? A coworker got married today on the carnival cruise line ship Victory. Yikes. I so love our ocean.

Thanks!
Spun.
