Well, not exactly a classic, but my first SeaCraft, and Ive been looking for a while.
Its a 1989 20' CC with a 200 Yamaha hpdi, enclosed transom w/Armstrong platform bracket and 107 gallon fuel tank.
Ive always loved the 20 SeaCraft, ever since I first started boating back in the 70s in high school, and now with the kids finally all grown and gone Im an owner!

Hello everyone!
My brother and I grew up on this boat known as "Twosome". My parents bought it from a neighbor in the summer of '79, and now a third generation (my 2 kids) are enjoying taking it to Fire Island with me, as I did with my parents. The folks recently moved away from their waterfront house on Long Island and now it resides on a trailer in my driveway, instead of staying in the water seasonally. I've begun getting her ready for the boating season and making some much needed repairs to both the trailer and boat...

I plan to dig up old pictures of "Twosome", sharing some of the boats history, and make a formal introduction at some point, as well as a thread to document the repairs and improvements since my ownership...

Bought this baby in February. It was completely gutted and all parts except the original hull replaced with Coosa. the guy who did the work had some strange and wrong ideas, like not supporting the floor/side connection very well, which resulted in some cracking along that joint, but otherwise no issues. Oh yeah, no drain for the front box whose hatch isnt waterproof and next to no chases or access to run new cables or wiring. But it runs like a scalded dog, handles great and I can ignore most cosmetic issues.

Great photo John. That's looks like my crew on the yellow '78 I bought last year. We are on the Great Lakes so we share the water with Canada. I would always say when we left the dock we will be in Canadian water so put the cell phones away or we would get hit with crazy roaming charges. Of course I was laying but it worked every time. We actually hung out with each other.

Bought the Hull and Trailer for $800 from the original owners family who happens to my friend. It had been sitting/rotting in his fathers yard for the past 8-10 years. Had no idea what it really was till I got onto this site. I'm very excited and have started a complete rebuild with my father. Putting an older Johnson 140 VRO on the back... Trimming the console width down by 6" and adding coffin cooler to the front of that. Replaced the Gas Tank, Gutted the Gunnel and the rotted out wood... Re-glassed all of that already. Started re-glassing some of the stern areas as well... New Deck and a Paint Job and she will be ready to be re-assembled sooner rather than later... I live in RI, got the boat in Jamestown. My late grandfathers nickname was Nipper, So I gave it a New England twang and she will be called Nippah...
