Default Anchor locker

Need some idea's for my anchor locker on my 20 SC, my Dad came over yesterday and thought doing away with the front hatch for the anchor locker and installing one on the top (one of those waterproof hatches) Whatta ya guys think? Any pic's?

You could cut out the hatch and glass a reciever lip like this....................

You make the hatch from the piece you cut out. It can be any size you want as long as you leave room for the ring on the bottom.

The hatch looks great, I will do it to my 27. I am curious why you don't use a hatch like the bomar, and just leave it open when the anchor is being used? (Condensation?) Also I noticed on most of your boats you have a spray rail, is that the Smart-Rail, or something you make? I would like to add one to mine while it is ripped apart.
