Scalloping by braille...........that's my normal way of doing it anyway, can't see poop!! Now for you really good scallop finding fools, unlike me, dirty water may be a problem.

On to the important stuff, I would make sure the beer is clear.......

I'd be more concerned about the "Apple Pie" clarity...LOL! More copper, less lead!

Julie and I will be there, arriving Friday evening. Scallops may be a non-starter after the storm, but the company alone makes the trip worthwhile. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

We do a volunteer day every year with Tampa Baywatch collecting data on the amounts of scallops in TB. Basically counting them in a designated GPS coordinate. With the tannin water of TB clarity is an issue. They provide everyone with a simple 3 foot long piece of PVC. You dive down and push the PVC through the grass and when you feel a bump in the grass you investigate further. Might be worth a shot there Don! Would widen the braille page for ya!!

Hummmm.....let me think, in my case I would need a 4" x 3 foot piece of PVC. :)

Eric

I found some stuff left over from other gatherings I'll be bringing. I have enough bowls, only about 40 Chinet paper plates and some Costco plastic ware, good on the knives, maybe ok on the spoons, but not good on the forks.

We are bringing fish we got right before Irma got here. There should be plenty to feed everyone. It is a mixed bag of hogs, gag, red snapper and cobia. I'm thinking 15-20 lbs of fillets.
