Its nice to have a second pair of hands when your laying on the top.

I went around the edges where I had only used non-waxed gellcoat before, this should add some shine and keep it cleaner looking.
http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/t...b/P5220312.jpg Radar dome is on and cable is run down, along with all the rest of the stuff on the top is done and sealed up! http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/t...b/P5220311.jpg Taped and rolled the forward part of the main deck. http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/t...b/P5220310.jpg While waiting on drying nonskid I was working on re-doing the T-top box. Still needs a filler panel in the middle and wiring. The VHF is now installed under the CD deck. http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/t...0521-00156.jpg |
Hi Patrick,
May I ask what product you are painting the deck with? Will be doing the same before too long. Looking real nice! Norm |
Its called Kiwi grip. I got it at Jamestown dist, goes on with their special roller. Its sensitive to how thick the material is, and how much you 'work' the material.

Patrick, How's the boat/bracket/motor combo working out?? I'm guessing you're out sniffing for tunas :)
|
HA! I wish! I have been out 'fishing' 3 times in the last month, and they was mostly beer cruzes.
I am up to myass in alligators at work right now, have 5 guys (including myself) doing 40-50hrs a week and still falling behind! I took on a ton of new customers, and I couldn't staff up fast enough (typical lower cape story) and its causing me heartburn. Oh yea and the wife is due in less than 4 weeks, another source of heartburn. Boat still does not have a motor, heartburn #3... |
Congrats on your Trifecta!! Sounds like you'll have a very busy summer....especially in another 4 weeks. Best of luck with the little on the way... My 5 year old won't let me leave him at home any more!!
Thought you had your engine ordered and delivered? I'm curious how it sits as I'm thinking about twin 150-200 etecs on a Hermco bracket for the Sceptre. All the best, Steve |
had recently purchased a*1978 Center Console Seacraft. I am getting
ready to restore it however,*their are a few questions I would like to ask. Their are square holes on each side of the motor well that are covered with plexiglass and when I took the plexiglass off the holes appeared to be recessed. Are they just access holes to the bilge or am I missing something? If possible, I would greatly appreciate if you could send any other information and pictures with this model boat. * Regards, Jpimminc |
