Dirtwheels the Maestro!

Fantastic Chris-
Probably good for me you couldn’t work spraying my transom into your que. I couldn’t afford such excellence. (The only quote I was able to even get in the local area was $600 with my paint.). So rolled it, not perfect, but is only the a$$ end. Maybe hit it again nexr spring if I can get a better paint match. I do realize the space suits and gear you need to use to spray these wicked paints and avoid a short life span.

Most race hulls are not blueprinted to that level.

Good lord...wax that thing and pop a mold off it...the original hull was not that perfect...set up your shop light and shave off that reflection in the morning...

The paint shows better in the pics! Got a bunch of dust and a couple runs in it...

Rushed and got the hullsides done yesterday, theyre gonna have to be redone. Didnt do enough test sprays, thought i was good to go, had the fluid knob turned out a bit too much on first tack coat and it was run city. Looked like an avalanche of paint on the first 6ft. It looks good from about 5ft away in the right angle hehhh. Its awlgrip so no cut n buff. Will probably reshoot in awlcraft (had the awlgrip kicking around already so i used it).

Gonna wait til the insides ready for paint and reshoot hullsides then i reckon :(

Terry thats why im nota painter, and hate painting! Its nerve racking. Too much to easily go wrong and when it does its usually $$$
