The rest of it really isnt bad. But i cant leave those runs! Theyre real hard to photograph, gotta see in person. I know i can lay down a 6" job... I painted the steps white too, should contrast more when its right side up.

That is going to be one cool little skiff when you get it finished...I like the toe kick...studying your tools..looks like you mostly use air..and of course a lot of manual boarding...I recently bought one of those long air sanders but have yet to try it out. Curious about the spray rails...does it change the ride at all? hard turns? I was tinkering with the idea on my 20 MA that has been sitting and in need of attention. Nice work as usual!

Thanks gents.

Gotta use pneumatic. Lighter, smaller, fits in tight spots. Not gonna board much in here. I will start with one sometimes just to see whats going on and where i need to focus w the machines. On the big surfaces ill usually start with an 8” electric sander/polisher with 60 grit. The air file/board is great. Gotta keep it moving though.

The consensus is the rails definitely help i reckon. Got to watch em in action for awhile on my 20 when we towed it, knocked the water down quite a bit. The ones on here are even wider and turned down a bit more. As far back as they are on this one they may add a bit of stern lift too which probably wont be a bad thing. We will see!!
