It appears I joined in 2011. I must have been looking at the site from the outside for a while after buying Kasey's 79 20' Seafari back in 2002-2003. The Seafari was the start of many SeaCraft acquisitions and the search never ends. Had the pleasure of meeting several members and hope to meet more at the future gatherings.

I, too, have been a member for 19 years. I joined after I ran in to Carl Moesly at the boat ramp in Yankeetown, Florida one day, and he admired my '74 Tsunami. I was blown away when he revealed to me who he was, as in the early 80's I had managed a marina which was a SeaCraft dealership. I got my own first SeaCraft in late 1983, but they had been in my family since the early 70's.

I found Classic Mako in high school when I was given a free 17' Mako that had just been pulled off the bottom. It didn't take long to make it over here and fall in love with the owner build pages- the blue 20' from Block Island, Trayder's 20' on saw horses in his driveway, the red 23' Ragtime that matched my uncle's 20'...

The knowledge and documentation on both sites was so critical to getting started and tackling some of the things I've attempted over the years. There were so many times I ran inside to consult the forum mid-project, ask a question with resin on my hands, or look back at pictures to get direction or double check the next steps. I personally owe a ton to you guys!

Got my first SeaCraft back in 86, a 18 ft, which I hated to sell, but I had bought my 23. I am sort of a re run here, as I joined close to 20 years ago under a different name. Life got in the way and I lost touch. When I went to try a login, apparently I forgot what that name was and re registered. Got to write things down.

Nice to get out again, I know.

While I have only been a CSC member since 2014, I confirmed that I am the.longest running ownership in my 1976 SeaCraft Safari. It is powered by an Evinrude ETEC which I added PerfectPass GPS Speed Control so I could hold a steady wakeboard speed. I am apparently the only American and one of three in the world who have added a PerfectPass to their Evinrude. The other two who became Internet friends are from Australia and Sweden, I have made both inquiries and responses to CSC and I enjoy it on a daily basis. thanks guys.
