Default 20 Years of Classic SeaCraft

Happy Anniversary brethren of CSC! 2-25-2002 was the date that Jason took our site live. Those of you that were around from the git-go or just found your Graceland between then and now, thanks for the memories! Thank you Tim for stepping in and keeping us up and running. We never experienced the site disappearing for more than a few days over these 2 decades because of the efforts of a few people. Thank you. Classic Mako wasn’t so lucky with their site staying running. Let’s keep gettin’ after it! April’s gathering will be a great time! I hope to see more of the crew. We still have Grand Cay in July as well.

Wow, thanks for the reminder Snookerd, how time flies when you're having fun! Thanks to all the folks who've made CSC possible! Back in '02 I'd just received a bonus at work in West Palm when I stumbled across an 18 SF without power, in great shape for short money. I'd long admired SeaCrafts, and quickly came to the conclusion "If not now, when?" Not long after that, IIRC, I googled "SeaCraft boats" and found CSC, which really reinforced my belief that I wasn't crazy (although a couple of friends thought I was absolutely nuts). I was also dead set on slapping a 115 Yamaha 4 stroke on the back of the 18, but couldn't find one around, and wound up putting a DF140 on... and the rest is history.

I was a lurker for the first year and half...
Decided to climb aboard in 2004 !

The long lasting friendships because of this site is priceless.
Have owned many a SeaCraft over the last 36 years and sharing the knowledge
with all the other talented people here goes without saying.

Facebook has taken a lot of people, but CSC is still for the hard cores.

Lets keep it going !

Holy cow!!! I don't have any idea how I heard about this site, too many brain cells have bit the dust since then to remember!!! But I'm so happy I did!!!

I had a "hard on" for a SC years before I got back from TX while doing the corporate thing....just loved the looks and the ride. Even though I bought my 1998 Hewes Bonefisher site unseen two months before I came back to FL I knew what I really wanted was a 23' SC. Bought it in 2003 and I see I joined CSC July 2004. We all should be very proud of what the site has accomplished.....especially the way we were able to separate men from their money to build their dream boat!!

Like NoBones and DonV I joined in 2004 as well! I had recently bought my 1970 Seafari 20 and the knowledge already available on the board was invaluable to help me maintain her. It's been a pleasure to be here for 18 years and i hope we have many more to celebrate, see y'all in Sebastian!

I joined in 2010 after finding my first SeaCraft. Went to Atlantic beach one weekend and saw a SeaCraft 21, somewhere around 2005, and fell in love with it. Told my friend that was going to be my next boat. Five years later I found the 18 right under my nose. She had been neglected but still seaworthy. Joining this site started as, 'I wish I could do that...' and transformed into 'I did that!. Don't know what I would have done without this site and hope to be posting about my next one, the 20 sf. I've only met a couple of the members, but, I feel like I've known most of you forever! What a great site and group of people!

Wow, I can't remember which came first, the Seafari or my membership back in '02. I saw a Seafari while on vacation on Captiva and was enamored with the lines. Bought one not knowing anything about it and have been a devotee ever since. Now practicing the "3 boat" theory (illness). This is the best site because of the members!
