Beautiful boat. The pix of it in the mangroves look like they could be from an ad.

Very, very nice!
As someone previously mentioned - like a time capsule with all the originals. I can attest that those Mahogany plywood hatches really withstand the test of time. From your pics I guess we'll see you also docked at Scotty's Landing someday:cool: |

Re: 1970 20' SF
Groveguy actually hit it on the head! That is at the dock at Scotty's Landing. Grove Harbor Marina.

Re: 1970 20' SF
Updated shot of the console...I rewired the whole boat, replaced the original switches with the fused panel in the pic, installed a new stereo (Aquatic AV, this model holds an iPod inside of the head unit...performs GREAT!), added a second battery and moved them to the center console, and most importantly...the refreshment holders! Ready for the Summer! :D
http://i964.photobucket.com/albums/a...s/P5081028.jpg Forgot to mention one thing...by far the best add to the boat has been the Lenco Trim Tabs. Trim tabs should be manditory for anyone with a 20'er! I don't think I've ever ridden in a boat where they have made such an amazing difference in ride and performance. |
