Thats why I was so interested in it. I love the antique boat shows, and that boat would be a perfect candidate.

My mom still does the shows with our Customcraft Stingrays. She came in first for her category this year with the boat Otto brought down. I wish I had some current pic's.

Driven by Carl Moesly. Co-driver is Frank Brown

This thread is exciting. I also welcome the Moesly's.
I think Frank Brown sold my Dad our first SeaCraft in 1973. A 20' fisherman in West Palm Beach (Haulpner & Brown) I think Frank is now in the Keys and is known as the Mercury Guru?

To add a little more guilt here. Rebuilt Homelites Bearcat 55hp's from Ed Ewing Economy 4 Cycle Marine of Redding, CA are less than 2K each.

I'm sure if you told him that you wanted them for a collectible he'd try to match the originals. If Ben didn't want to give up his project . . . maybe we could start a CSC pool to restore one of these oldies and donate it to a museum. Would be incredible if Florida would preserve part of LakeX or Miami for a Powerboat Racing museum.

Ben,

I agree. Don't chop up that old 21, it appears to be the only one left. You should really try to restore it back to it's original form, or give it to someone that is willing to

I feel very special with my new tag (which I share with Carl). Many thanks to all of you guys. We look forward to meeting you in person one of these days. And again thanks Bigshrimpin for putting me in touch with Treasure.

Too late Big, from one of his previous posts Ben's already gutted it. :(
